Deepavali Celebration: Southern California Chapter

We, the Southern California Chapter, celebrated Deepavali at Ishwar and Veena’s home in Cerritos. The hosts, Veena and Ishwar, organized a fun Rangoli coloring activity on coasters for the kids, along with games for adults and, of course, Phatakis for the kids — and the kids at heart!

The evening featured amazing potluck food, musical performances by both children and adults, Laxmi Pooje, HAA convention and Yakshagana announcements, and plenty of laughter. We ended the celebration with wonderful memories and festive cheer all around.
