Volunteering at DC Central Kitchen: Washington DC Chapter

1 August 2026, members of the HAA DC Chapter came together for a meaningful volunteer activity at DC Central Kitchen, an organization working to address hunger and create opportunities within the community.

Chapter members contributed their time and efforts by helping with various meal-preparation activities, including cutting cucumbers, preparing and mixing salads, and packing sandwiches. It was a wonderful opportunity for members to work together while supporting an important community cause.

A special thanks to Mabaleshwar Hegde for coordinating and organizing this meaningful volunteer activity, and to all the members who participated and contributed their time.
