Vidhyanidhi
Havyaka Vidyanidhi awarded 39 Havyaka college students HAA Scholarship 2021. This is the 8th year HAA is distributing scholarships in India for deserving college students. Most of the awards are each Rs 10,000 and few Rs 7500 and Rs 5000. Total sum distributed was Rs 320,000 (USD 4300). The awards are distributed through Havyaka Mahasabha Bangalore.
If there were a large number of applications with high merit and financial need we follow the below criteria to select the students for the scholarship.
Following was our criteria of the team:
- Merit – marks and accomplishments.
- Financial needs of the family
- Degree – degree in any discipline.
- Sanskrit study is encouraged.
- Geographical Diversity is considered. However, merit is the priority.
- Previous year recipient – better to continue if has maintained good progress;
