The New England Chapter celebrated Deepavali on Saturday, November 1, in a spacious rented hall. The event featured a wonderful lineup of cultural programs by children, including singing in both Carnatic and Hindustani styles. Soon after, the popular Kannada Rajyotsava song was beautifully rendered.
A graceful dance performance by a new member captivated the audience and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The highlight of the evening was “Taalmaddale,” performed by our talented members along with visiting parent Shailaja Goranamane. The audience loved the sharp, spontaneous dialogues and engaging interactions of the participants.
We also took the opportunity to promote the upcoming Havyaka Convention 2026 in Chicago.
The program concluded with a delicious potluck dinner, bringing the evening to a satisfying close.
